Link Productions has covered some of the most important local and regional events in the past few years, assisting some of the worlds leading Arab and foreign news organizations and agencies. Some of these events include the Arab-Israeli peace process, the events which took place last year in Bethlehem, marking the beginning of the third millennium and most recently, the events of the on-going Palestinian uprising.
Currently, Link Productions have cooperative activities with numerous news and television agencies and organizations. The main operations that Link Productions is currently engaged in are transmitting tape material and live studios to various destinations in the world.
Due to the current political turmoil in the country, news agencies and organizations are finding it increasingly difficult to move freely between Palestinian and Israeli controlled areas. Most news agencies and television networks are located in Jerusalem, while most political events are taking place in Palestinian territories. Hence, Link Productions is currently assisting these organizations by transmitting their material (footage) via microwave from the West Bank to their destinations in Jerusalem.
In addition, a large number of satellite channels are using Link Productions� studio and facilities to conduct live interviews with political figures and analysts. On average, Link Productions holds two live interviews daily, each approximately 45 minutes long.
Link Productions crew has also assisted some agencies and organizations in all stage of feature and news productions. The crew, (i.e. camera and soundmen), has been frequently hired to conduct such projects for television channels, mainly in West Bank areas that are viewed by some foreign institutions as difficult to reach.
